Attention All Students….
Ø Congratulations to the Senior Band!!! They performed at the IGSMA Band Competition on Saturday and received a 1st Superior! They were the only band that received a 1st Superior in our gym. They did an amazing job!! Congratulations again & Way to Go!!!
Ø Another Big Thank You to all the Talent Shower Participants—You were Amazing!! Thank You to Mr. Beatty and Olivia Eiskant for being emcees for the night and to Joey Johnston for running the light! We couldn’t have done it without you!
Ø Attention Vocal Motion Altos… We will rehearse at lunch today!
Ø Attention 8th Grade Students… Kickball is at lunch today at 12:30 p.m.
Ø Attention Student Council Members… There is no student council meeting tomorrow!
Ø Attention Flag Members…. Flag Practice is cancelled for tomorrow, April 9th.
Ø Attention All Students… This Friday, April 12th is “Wear a Hat Day” at MCS!! Support the American Heart Association and give $1.00 to wear a hat!
Ø Attention 8th Grade Students…. Graduation pictures are scheduled for Monday, April 15. Individual pictures will be taken beginning at 6:00 pm. The Group Photograph of the 2019 Graduation Class will be taken at 7:00 pm. 8th grade students wishing to appear in the group photograph should report to the gym dressed in cap and gown attire by 6:55 pm.
Graduation attire: Male students shall wear a shirt with a collar, tie, dress slacks and dress shoes (no jeans, shorts, flip-flops, boots, sandals or athletic shoes). Female students shall wear a dress or blouse with either a skirt or dress pants and dress shoes (no jeans, shorts, athletic shoes, platform shoes, flip-flops, sandals, stiletto heels). Graduation attire shall be worn when the graduation pictures are taken and for the graduation ceremony. Students who do not conform to this policy will be given their diploma at a later date and will not be permitted to participate in or attend the graduation ceremony.
Attention All Students… The Buy One, Get One Free PTA Spring Book Fair will be held at the Primary Center on April 10th – 12th from 8:30 – 3:00 p.m. Family Night is Tuesday, April 9th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Ø Attention 5th – 8th Grade Students…. St. Louis Cardinals D.A.R.E./Drug Free Night at Busch Stadium is on Tuesday, May 7th. The Cardinals will host the Philadelphia Phillies at 6:45 p.m. Order forms should be turned into the school office NO LATER than Monday, April 8th. Tickets will be $17.00 each. Seating will be in the Right Field Lodge or Right Field Pavilion. Please make checks payable to the Millstadt Police Department. A hot dog and soda are included with each ticket.
