Character Ed Theme –  Caring

Attention All Students….

Ø  Congratulations to the Science Olympiad team for the successful completion of the University of Illinois State Tournament!!  You represented MCS well and made your coaches and parents proud.  Our team came home with three 1st place medals, one 3rd place medals, one 3rd place medal and two 4th place medals.  Way to Go team!!

Specials Congratulations to: “Battery Buggy” – Andrew Elliot and Bryce Kurfman, “Boomilever” – Kyle Fischer and Bryce Kurfman and “Elastic Launched Glider” – Andrew Elliot and Bryce Kurfman for their 1st place medals.  “Geocaching” – Mac Lanciault and Michael Robertson for their 3rd place medals.  “Potions and Poisons” – Shanan Riley and Brock Becker and “Ornithology” – Ian Pitre and Sylvi Segraves for their 4th place medals. 

Ø  Attention Vocal Motion & Baritones…. We will have rehearsal today at lunch. 

Ø  Attention 5th Grade Volleyball Players… We will have practice today in the gym. 


Ø  Attention 8th Grade Students…. Graduation pictures are tonight at 6:00 p.m.    The Group Photograph of the 2019 Graduation Class will be taken at 7:00 pm.  8th grade students wishing to appear in the group photograph should report to the gym dressed in cap and gown attire by 6:55 pm. Graduation attire:  Male students shall wear a shirt with a collar, tie, dress slacks and dress shoes (no jeans, shorts, flip-flops, boots, sandals or athletic shoes).  Female students shall wear a dress or blouse with either a skirt or dress pants and dress shoes (no jeans, shorts, athletic shoes, platform shoes, flip-flops, sandals, stiletto heels). Graduation attire shall be worn when the graduation pictures are taken and for the graduation ceremony.  Students who do not conform to this policy will be given their diploma at a later date and will not be permitted to participate in or attend the graduation ceremony.

Ø  Attention Singsation Members… We will have practice rehearsal tomorrow morning at 7:50 p.m.


Ø  Attention Student Council Members… There is a meeting tomorrow.   

Ø  Attention All Students…  Tomorrow is Pajamas for Pets Day for all students and teachers!  Bring a dollar to school to wear your pajamas.  Pajamas for Pets Day is a fundraiser for the Belleville Area Humane Society.  The money will help the animals with medical expenses, toys, food and any other animal needs and or wants.
