·         Congratulations to Zak Wolf for being the Conference High Jump Champion!  Congratulations to Zander Mueth, Zak Wolf, Antrionelle Lowery, Jackson Courtney for the setting the 200 Relay School Record!  Way to Go!! 

·         Attention Vocal Motion Members…. We will rehearse today at lunch! 

·         Attention 6^th/7^th/8^th Grade Students…Get your teams together for the School Carnival Volleyball Tournament. A team consist of 6 players and can be a mix of grades and gender if you want.  Basic volleyball rules apply, First team to 15 wins, rally scoring, championship game will be against the teachers, line judges have final call, must be at the sand court at game time or forfeit. Get your team form outside Ms. Glaeser's room. Completed forms must be in by Wednesday, the 15th. A schedule will be posted on Thursday.

·         Attention 5^th-7^th Grade Students…. Student Council Applications for the 2019-2020 school year will be available starting tomorrow.  Anyone wanting to run for the student council should pick one up from their homeroom teacher, the office or Mrs. Wilson.  The completed packet is due NO LATER than May 14^th.  IF you turn in an incomplete packet, it will NOT count!  Please see Mrs. Wilson for any questions. 

 

·         Attention 3^rd – 8^th Grade Students… Pizza Day is this Thursday, May 9^th.  Get 2 slices of pizza, a dessert, and a bottle of water for $5.00.  Served during lunch in the Atrium, outside of the gym.   Please turn in your money and order form to Mr. Weaver by tomorrow, May 8^th. 

 

·         Attention 6^th/7^th/8^th Grade Students… The Final Fiesta Dance is this Friday, May 11^th from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. for the 6^th and 7^th grade students and from 7:00 – 10 p.m. for the 8^th grade students.  The cost is $5.00 and you will have to have a signed permission to slip to attend.  There will also be a Photo Booth!! 

 

·         Attention Students…. The MCS Athletic Awards Night is next Tuesday, May 14^th.  We will honor the following teams:

6:00 p.m.  Soccer in the Gym, Softball in the Band Room,

6:30 p.m. 7/8^th Grade Volleyball and Cheerleading in the Gym, 7^th/8^th Grade Boys Basketball in the Band Rm

7:00 p.m. 7/8^th Grade Girls Basketball in the Gym

 

·         Attention All Students…. The Spring Carnival is next Friday, May 17^th, from 1:30 – 5:00 p.m. in the park area behind MCS.  Deadline for armband presale orders is next Wednesday, May 15^th by 3:00 p.m. in the Principal’s office or the Assistant Principal’s office.  Presale armbands cost $12.  If paying by check, please make it payable to MCCS PTA.  Armbands will be distributed on May 17^th at the Carnival.  Please go to the Main Check in Table/Booth.  For question, please contact Denise Campo @ denise_campo@yahoo.com. 

***All Students in Pre-K through 8^th Grade need to have a signed permission slip in order to attend the carnival.  Please return the permission slips to school NO later than Thursday, May 16^th.
