Character Ed Theme – Commitment
Attention Students…
Repurpose Used School Supplies for NiCE…..Students ~ this is an opportunity to help educate less fortunate children by collecting and repurposing your used school supplies. As we approach the end of the school year when cleaning out lockers, backpacks and desk areas – please repurpose them instead of throwing them in the trash. We will have tables and empty boxes set up in all the hallways at MCS and in front of the aquarium at MPC.
Donations will be collected from Wednesday, May 5th - 19th.
The following is a list of some of the items:
Crayons – even broken ones, markers, pencils, colored pencils, pens, erasers,
glue – glue sticks, scotch tape, scissors, art/craft supplies, notebook paper,
construction paper, composition notebooks – even partially used, spiral notebooks
even partially used, folders, rulers/compasses/protractors, backpack, gym shoes
The teachers and children receiving these supplies from our school will be very grateful for all the supplies donated. Thank you!
- Attention 3rd – 7th Grade Students… MCS Summer Sports Camps information is outside the gym on the bulletin board.
- Attention 5th through 7th Grade Students… Do you want to be on Student Council and have the best year yet? Pick up an application from your teacher and run for a position. Applications are available this week and they are due on Tuesday, May 11th. I hope to see your name! Mrs. Wilson
Thank you to Scharf Farm....A special thanks to Scharf Farm for partnering with Millstadt School District #160 to provide the beautiful flowers planted in the new Earth Planters at both MCS and MPC. They will be spectacular in time for both Kindergarten and 8th Grade Graduation!
- Attention 3rd Grade Students… If you are interested in the joining the band, there will be a meeting next Tuesday, May 11th in the band room at 7:00 p.m.
- Attention Band Students…. Band Uniform Collection is next Tuesday, May 11th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. outside the Principal’s office.
