Exciting news! Kindergarten Graduate signs are ready for pick up!!! Come up to school today from 12-3pm or Monday from 10am-3pm! Thank you PTA for purchasing these!

The screenings for incoming Kindergarten students that were scheduled for this month have been cancelled. We will screen Kindergarten students during the first week of school. As we near the beginning of the school year and we have more info, we will communicate that to you.

Parents this week is Teacher Appreciation week! We understand that this is an odd time to share your thanks with Teachers due to lack of school attendance. PTA is asking parents to have their children record a short video message or snap a picture of your child with a sign sharing their THANKS! Please send them to your PTA President Stephanie Herling. Please include you child's first name and their teachers name when you text it to Stephanie at 618-979-2376. Watch our Facebook "Millstadt PTA" for your child's message to be shared.

MPC Kids Heart Challenge Update
Mr. Belosi has been getting some questions about gifts (T-shirts, balls, etc) that students still need to receive. This is the response from the American Heart Association in regard to this.
"The gifts are all packaged and are still being held by state. They’re in “zones” in the warehouse so we can release the gifts as allowed or recommended by health experts. As a health organization, we have to adhere to a stricter standard than retail stores, etc. With that said, the current plan is to ship the gifts for the beginning of the school year. "
As of now plans are to get these out as soon as we can when the year begins. If there are problems with shirt sizes we will work to correct these.
We will hopefully have a celebration party early in the year or the students will be able to slime at the kick off next year, if we cant set up a date early in the year.
Overall the school raised $13.392.53!!!!!!! This will also provide $1200.00 of PE equipment to the school!!!
We had 55 students raise over $100!!!!!!!!
The top fundraisers in each grade level were.
K - Cate Branum - $435.00
1st - Anna Kremmel - $347.86
2nd and overall top fundraiser - Jackson Klotz - 602.86
Once again great job to all involved!!!!!!! If you have any questions email Mr. Belosi mbelosi@mccsd160.com

Dear Families,
We have been in contact with Lifetouch regarding this Spring’s school pictures. Due to COVID-19 and recent school closures we haven’t been able to distribute the picture packets. If you’ve already ordered your pictures, they will be handed out when school resumes. If you haven’t ordered, you can call 1-800-736-4753 and Lifetouch will help locate your access credentials to place your order..
Thank you.

Please be aware that we will not be serving meals on April 9, 10 and 13. Our crew will be on a much deserved spring break. We will resume serving meals on April 14th. Thank you.

I would like to congratulate the Primary Center students and Mr. Belosi for raising $13,222.53 for the American Heart Association during the Kid's Heart Challenge! This is a huge amount of money considering the age of our students and the small number of students we have. Mr. Belosi did a great job of promoting! Great job!

Millstadt Families: If you have a picture of your child/children doing work or a fun activity (preferably something suggested by their teachers) during this time off, please email them to sweaver@mccsd160.com. Please send all pictures by Friday, March 27th. Please only send 1 or 2 and send them in their actual size if given the choice. I will try to use as many as possible in the yearbook to document this time in history. Thank you. Shannon Weaver

Thanks teachers for helping with the meals today!
