Character Ed Theme – Caring
Attention All Students….
Ø Attention Track Team…. No Track practice today or tomorrow.
Ø Attention All Parts of Vocal Motion Members… We will rehearse today at lunch.
Ø Attention 8th Grade Students…. Graduation caps and gowns will be distributed during your lunch period today. After you finish your lunch, come to the office. Picture forms will also be distributed at this time.
Graduation pictures are scheduled for Monday, April 15. Individual pictures will be taken beginning at 6:00 pm. The Group Photograph of the 2019 Graduation Class will be taken at 7:00 pm. 8th grade students wishing to appear in the group photograph should report to the gym dressed in cap and gown attire by
6:55 pm.
Graduation attire: Male students shall wear a shirt with a collar, tie, dress slacks and dress shoes (no jeans, shorts, flip-flops, boots, sandals or athletic shoes). Female students shall wear a dress or blouse with either a skirt or dress pants and dress shoes (no jeans, shorts, athletic shoes, platform shoes, flip-flops, sandals, stiletto heels). Graduation attire shall be worn when the graduation pictures are taken and for the graduation ceremony. Students who do not conform to this policy will be given their diploma at a later date and will not be permitted to participate in or attend the graduation ceremony.
Ø Attention 5th Grade Volleyball Group…. We will have pictures for both groups today at 3:30 p.m. in the Multi-purpose room. Wear Millstadt t-shirt with black shorts. Thanks, Coach Dahm
Ø Attention Yearbook Staff…. We will meet tomorrow morning at 7:45 in Mrs. Weaver’s room.
Ø Attention Science Olympiad Team… Pictures for State will be taken tomorrow morning at 8:10 a.m. Please meet in Mrs. Kehrer’s room by 8:05 and wear your team shirts.
Attention All Students… The Buy One, Get One Free PTA Spring Book Fair will be held at the Primary Center on April 10th – 12th from 8:30 – 3:00 p.m. Family Night is Tuesday, April 9th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Ø Attention 5th – 8th Grade Students…. St. Louis Cardinals D.A.R.E./Drug Free Night at Busch Stadium is on Tuesday, May 7th. The Cardinals will host the Philadelphia Phillies at 6:45 p.m. Order forms should be turned into the school office NO LATER than Monday, April 8th. Tickets will be $17.00 each. Seating will be in the Right Field Lodge or Right Field Pavilion. Please make checks payable to the Millstadt Police Department. A hot dog and soda are included with each ticket. In honor of Earth Day 2019, we are planning our annual fundraising event. Each classroom will collect donations for the Earth Day Project through this week.
One classroom from each school will earn an ice cream sundae party in Millstadt Park from Happy Days by raising the most money during the Earth Day Project fundraiser. The donations from the fundraising event will be used to purchase flowers for a district-wide Earth Day Planting Day.
