Character Ed Theme – Honesty
Attention All Students….
· Attention Vocal Motion Members…. We will rehearse today at lunch.
· Attention Students… The Flag Clinic is today from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. in the gym. You must attend both days of the clinic and tryouts will be this Friday!
· Attention Track Team…. Track practice is today for the 6th & 8th Grade only!
· Attention Students…. The 2019 MCS Art Fair is next Monday, May 6th. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Jazz Band will perform at 6:45 p.m. and the Awards Ceremony is at 7:00 p.m. in the gym.
· Attention 6th/7th/8th Grade Students… The Final Fiesta Dance is on Friday, May 10th from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. for the 6th and 7th grade students and from 7:00 – 10 p.m. for the 8th grade students. The cost is $5.00 and you will have to have a signed permission to slip to attend. There will also be a Photo Booth!!
· Attention Students…. The MCS Athletic Awards Night is on Tuesday, May 14th. We will honor the following teams:
6:00 p.m. Soccer in the Gym, Softball in the Band Room,
6:30 p.m. 7/8th Grade Volleyball and Cheerleading in the Gym, 7th/8th Grade Boys Basketball in the Band Rm
7:00 p.m. 7/8th Grade Girls Basketball in the Gym
· Attention All Students…. The Spring Carnival will be held on Friday, May 17th, from 1:30 – 5:00 p.m. in the park area behind MCS. Deadline for armband presale orders is Wednesday, May 15th by 3:00 p.m. in the Principal’s office or the Assistant Principal’s office. Presale armbands cost $12. If paying by check, please make it payable to MCCS PTA. Armbands will be distributed on May 17th at the Carnival. Please go to the Main Check in Table/Booth. ***All Students in Pre-K through 8th Grade need to have a signed permission slip in order to attend the carnival. Please return the permission slips to school NO later than Thursday, May 16th.
