Character Ed Theme –  Honesty

Attention All Students….

·         Congratulations to our Girls on the Run team for completing their 5K on Saturday!  Way to push through the rain and cold!!

·         Attention 7th/8th Grade Athletes…. Those who played 3 sports this past school year, please make sure your name is on the list outside the gym hallway. 

  • Attention All Students…  Each year the 6th grade class spends the month of May focusing on Millstadt.  We learn about the history and focus on the current needs of the community.  This year we would like to stock our local food pantry, as well as provide care bags for our first responders.

We are asking YOU as community members to help us gather any of the following items. Please bring these items to your homeroom this week and 6th graders will collect them on Friday, May 17. Remember that these items are going directly to members of your community! 

Food Pantry Items…. Cold cereal, Hamburger Helper, Tuna Helper, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Mac and Cheese,

Canned peas, Dry Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Canned Fruit.

First Responder Care Bags…. Small hand sanitizers, Mints, Gum, Granola Bars, Small packs of tissues,

Sunflower seeds, Chapstick, Hard Candy, Small Snacks

Thank you for your generosity!!  6th grade class!

·         Attention 5th-7th Grade Students…. Student Council Petitions are due tomorrow, May 14th!  Please turn them into Mrs. Wilson’s class. 

·         Attention All Students…. There is a limited supply of extra yearbooks on sale at both offices starting today for $25. 

·         Attention 5th – 7th Grade Students… If you are interested in trying out for baseball in the Fall, there is a meeting this Friday, May 17th in Mr. Beatty’s room at 8:00 a.m. 

·         Attention 6th/7th/8th Grade Students…Get your teams together for the School Carnival Volleyball Tournament. A team consist of 6 players and can be a mix of grades and gender if you want.  Basic volleyball rules apply, the first team to 15 wins, rally scoring, championship game will be against the teachers, line judges have final call, must be at the sand court at game time or forfeit. Get your team form outside Ms. Glaeser's room. Completed forms must be in by Wednesday, the 15th. A schedule will be posted on Thursday.

 

·         Attention All Students…. The Spring Carnival is this Friday, May 17th, from 1:30 – 5:00 p.m. in the park area behind MCS.  Deadline for armband presale orders is next Wednesday, May 15th by 3:00 p.m. in the Principal’s office or the Assistant Principal’s office.  Presale armbands cost $12.  If paying by check, please make it payable to MCCS PTA.  Armbands will be distributed on May 17th at the Carnival.  Please go to the Main Check in Table/Booth.  For question, please contact Denise Campo @ denise_campo@yahoo.com

***All Students in Pre-K through 8th Grade need to have a signed permission slip in order to attend the carnival.  Please return the permission slips to school NO later than Thursday, May 16th
