Character Ed Theme – Respect
Attention All Students….
On Saturday, Cross Country competed in the SIUE First to the Finish Race. Our girls placed 11th out of 45 teams, and three girls medaled; Josie Caughlin, Ada Walker, and Sylvi Segraves. Josie came in 13th out of 355 runners with a time of 13.23.37. Cole Harris medaled for the boys, and came in 68th out of 441 runners with a time of 12:55.59. Congratulations to all of the team members on your first outing on a collegiate course. Coach Arehart
Congratulations to the Senior Band & Flags!! You did a fantastic job performing in the Homecoming Parade both days! You sounded great and your marching skills were the best yet. I received many compliments on how great you looked and sounded!! Ms. Drennan
Attention All Students… Grandparents and Special Friends Day Luncheon is next Tuesday, September 10th at MPC and on Thursday, September 12th at MCS!! Please return your reservation slips and money to school by Tomorrow, September 4th.
· Attention All Singsation Members…. A reminder that your first morning rehearsal is tomorrow at 7:50 a.m. Please be on time! Be sure to check with your teachers today to see how they want you to handle your lunch choices in the morning.
· Attention Beta Club Members…. We still need three to four workers at the PTA meeting tomorrow night. Please sign-up!
· Attention Jr. High Play Members… Cast Members should check the schedule to see who needs to be here on Tuesday.
· Attention 5 to 12 years old Students… Belleville West is offering a 2019 Kids Cheer Camp! Kids ages 5 through 12 years old are welcome to learn cheers, eat pizza, and have tons of fun cheering on the football players against O’Fallon. Cost is $25, t-shirt included. Must register to Lisa Quandt by September 15th either by email @ lquandt@bths201.org or mail to Frank Scott Parkway, Belleville, IL 62223 attention Lisa Quandt.
· Attention Beta Club Members… Workers are needed for the PTA meeting tomorrow, September 4th. We also need workers for the VFW!
· Attention Student Council Members…. Our first meeting is on Tuesday, September 10th @ 7:30 a.m. in Mrs. Wilson’s room.
