Character Ed Theme – Respect
Attention All Students….
Ø Congratulations Math Team…. Some members of the math team competed this weekend at the feeder school contest at Belleville West. Representing the 8th grade were Jerry Aplin, Wyatt Coughlin, Shanon Riley and Kiersten Scheibel. Jerry and Wyatt received Honorable Mentions for their fine scores. All members worked on a team test and captured a third place ribbon for their efforts. A fantastic job for a hard-working group of students. Thanks for making MCS proud!
Ø Attention 6th-8th Grade Students…. Math Matters Tutoring will be available today from 3:30 to 4:30 in room #204. This will be the only day this week.
- Attention Students….. It’s that time of year again! The National PTA Reflections program is beginning! Ms. Gay and Ms. Hawk will be a resource for picking up applications and rules in each category for this year’s theme ‘Heroes Around Me’ and reminding students of the upcoming deadline. Applications for each category will also be available in our Digital Locker. Many rules have changed within the categories so please read each one carefully. Important dates to note: Projects must be turned in to Ms. Gay or Ms. Hawk by end of school day Tuesday, November 20th. The Arts Showcase and Awards Celebration date has not yet been set. As soon as we know, we will send out a save the date. Please contact Lori Barganier with any questions at barganierL4@gmail.com. I look forward to seeing all of the wonderful projects our students create!
Ø Attention Vocal Motion Altos….. you will practice today at lunch.
Ø Attention 6th, 7th, 8th Grade Boys Basketball…. We play tonight at SPPS. Players need to be at school by 4:15 pm.
Ø Attention 6th through 8th Grade Students…. Anyone interested in joining the Chess Team, need to stop by the computer lab to sign up. Chess Team practice begins Monday, November 5th.
Ø Attention All Students…. Student Council will be selling ghoul greetings at both the Primary Center and MCS Today and tomorrow will be the last days!! They will be $1.00 each.
Ø Attention All Students…. Millstadt PTA Skate @ Fun Spot Skating Center in Belleville is next Monday October 29th, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Admission is $10. $5 for Non-Skaters. Skate rental is free.
Ø Attention 6th,7th, 8th Grade Members… Science Olympiad Tryouts are Thursday, November 8th @ 3:30-4:15 p.m. in Mrs. Kienitz room.
Ø Attention 8th Grade Students… Please turn in your baby picture for the yearbook by Tuesday, November 20th. Your picture needs to be an original copy and 4x6 size or smaller. Please place your picture in an envelope marked with your first and last name, and place it in the box outside of my classroom or send it to the office. All pictures will be returned. Mrs. Weaver
Ø Attention All Students… Yearbooks will go on sale starting Monday, November 5th through Tuesday, November 20th. You will have the option to purchase your yearbook online for a reduced price. Watch for more information. Mrs. Weaver
Ø Attention Pre-K – 5th Grade Students…. Trick or Treat at the Millstadt Garden Place @ 208 South Kossuth in Millstadt Tuesday, October 30th. From 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Please come in your costume!
