Character Ed Theme – Responsibility
Attention All Students….
- Attention Students….. It’s that time of year again! The National PTA Reflections program is beginning! Ms. Gay and Ms. Hawk will be a resource for picking up applications and rules in each category for this year’s theme ‘Heroes Around Me’ and reminding students of the upcoming deadline. Applications for each category will also be available in our Digital Locker and in the office. Many rules have changed within the categories so please read each one carefully. Important dates to note: Projects must be turned in to Ms. Gay or Ms. Hawk by end of school day Tuesday, November 20th. The Arts Showcase and Awards Celebration date has not yet been set. As soon as we know, we will send out a save the date. Please contact Lori Barganier with any questions at barganierL4@gmail.com. I look forward to seeing all of the wonderful projects our students create!
- Lt. Hucke would like to thank all students who participated in DARE to Run 5K. Great job representing MCS.
- Beat Club has a meeting Thursday morning at 7:40 a.m. in Mrs. Alt’s room.
- There will not be a Student Council meeting this week.
- 7th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball home game tonight.
- 6th, 7th and 8th Boys Basketball teams beat Smithton Thursday night.
- 8th Grade Boys basketball beat Signal Hill Friday night at Belleville West high School.
- Vocal Motion will rehearse at Study Hall today. This includes those members who are band members.
Ø Attention 6th through 8th Grade Students…. Anyone interested in joining the Chess Team, need to stop by the computer lab to sign up. Chess Team practice begins TODAY!
Ø Attention 6th,7th, 8th Grade Members… Science Olympiad Tryouts are Thursday, November 8th @ 3:30-4:15 p.m. in Mrs. Kienitz room.
Ø November Tutoring Schedule – the 7th, 14th, 27th & 29th from 3:30 to 4:30.
Ø Attention 8th Grade Students… Please turn in your baby picture for the yearbook by Tuesday, November 20th. Your picture needs to be an original copy and 4x6 size or smaller. Please place your picture in an envelope marked with your first and last name, and place it in the box outside of my classroom or send it to the office. All pictures will be returned. Mrs. Weaver
Ø Attention All Students… Yearbooks will go on sale starting TODAY through Tuesday
November 20th. You will have the option to purchase your yearbook online for a reduced price. Watch for more information. Mrs. Weaver.
