Attention All Students….
Ø Attention Vocal Motion Altos…. We will rehearse today at lunch.
Ø Attention 8th Grade Students…. Jostens is coming next Tuesday, February 12th, to measure for the Graduation Cap and Gown orders. They will come during your lunch hour. Please eat your lunch first then go to the principal’s office. Thank You.
Ø Attention Students… Science Olympiad Trivia Night is tonight in the MCS Gym. Start time is 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. $10 per person, teams of up to 8. Attention 8th Grade Students… If you turned in a baby picture, please go to Mrs. Weaver’s room after you eat lunch today to pick up your picture. You may not pick one up for a friend. You May only take you own.
Ø Attention Students…. Student Council is selling Val-O-Grams today through next Wednesday, Feb. 13th. They are selling crush sodas for $1 at the Primary Center in the morning and at MCS during lunch.
Ø Attention 6th/7th/8th Grade Students… Student Council is hosting a dance on February 15th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. You must have a signed permission slip to attend the dance and they will be out tomorrow to get one. The cost to get into the dance is $5.00.
Ø Attention Students …5th grade girls basketball team will not have practice tonight.
Ø Attentions Students…Crush sodas are on sale at lunch through Wednesday. Buy one for your crush or one for yourself.
Ø Attention Students…Science Olympiad team members you need to be in the gym by 6:00 p.m tonight. Wear your blue team shirts.
Ø Attention 6th/7th/8th Grade Students…. Math Matters Tutoring Center will be open 3:30 to 4:30 in room #204 for the following dates for the rest of February:
Tuesday, February 12th, Wednesday, February 13th, Wednesday, February 20th, Thursday, February 21st, Tuesday, February 26th, Thursday, February 28
Attention All Students…. 37th Annual St. Clair County Regional Young Authors’ Conference is
April 6th at Westhaven School in Belleville from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. 2019 Entry Guidelines and Information. This year’s theme is “Wild About Writing.” Students must submit his/her manuscripts to Mrs. Meyer or Mrs. Coppernoll for District #160 judging by Friday, February 15th. Late entries will not be accepted. Winning manuscripts will be selected by a panel of judges. The $20 registration fee will be paid by District #160.
Each manuscript must be accompanied by the MANUSCRIPT IDENTIFICATION FORM.
Please secure the form to the front inside cover of each book/manuscript.
Books do not necessarily have to pertain to this year’s theme.
For any additional Young Author information for grades K-2 please contact Mrs. Kristi Coppernoll. Please contact Mrs. Cindy Meyer for students in grades 3-8.
