Character Ed Theme – Caring
Attention All Students….
Ø Attention Students… Attention 3rd/4th/5th/6th/7th/8th Grade Students… School Talent School is Friday, April 5th. There will be a performance in the morning and the evening. If you are interested in in participating in the talent show you need to sign up outside of Mrs. Belosi’s classroom by Monday, March 4th. Auditions will be Monday, March 11th and Wednesday, March 13th from 3:30-5:30p.m.
Ø Attention Vocal Motion Altos…. There will be lunch rehearsal today.
Ø Attention Beta Club Members…. If you are going to convention you need to have all artwork including Photography in by Wednesday, February 20th. If you would like to compete in talent for Beta Convention , you need to be ready to tryout Wednesday.
Ø Attention Students... MCS Pizza Day is Friday, February 22nd. Get 2 slices of pizza, dessert and a bottle of water all for $5.00. Return your forms to Mr. Weaver or the office.
Ø Attention 6th/7th/8th Grade Students… Student Council is hosting a dance Today, February 15th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Don’t forget you must have a signed permission slip to attend the dance. The cost to get into the dance is $5.00.
Ø Attention Wrestlers... Please turn in uniform, sweat shirt, sweat pants and head gear this Today. Put uniforms in a bag with your name on it. You can turn in after school in the main gym by the stage. Thanks, Coach Dahm
Ø Attention 6th/7th/8th Grade Students…. Math Matters Tutoring Center will be open from 3:30 to 4:30 in room #204 on following dates for the rest of February:
Wednesday, February 20th, Thursday, February 21st, Tuesday, February 26th, Thursday, February 28
Attention All Students…. 37th Annual St. Clair County Regional Young Authors’ Conference is
April 6th at Westhaven School in Belleville from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. 2019 Entry Guidelines and Information. This year’s theme is “Wild About Writing.” Students must submit his/her manuscripts to Mrs. Meyer or Mrs. Coppernoll for District #160 judging by Friday, February 15th. Late entries will not be accepted. Winning manuscripts will be selected by a panel of judges. The $20 registration fee will be paid by District #160.
Each manuscript must be accompanied by the MANUSCRIPT IDENTIFICATION FORM.
Please secure the form to the front inside cover of each book/manuscript.
Books do not necessarily have to pertain to this year’s theme.
For any additional Young Author information for grades K-2 please contact Mrs. Kristi Coppernoll. Please contact Mrs. Cindy Meyer for students in grades 3-8.
