Character Ed Theme – Tolerance
Attention All Students….
Ø Attention Youth Activist Club Officers…. We will have a meeting tomorrow, Friday morning at 8:00 in Mrs. Paisley's room.
Ø Attention Songfest Members… We will meet tomorrow morning @ 7:30.
Ø Attention Students… Stop by outside Mrs. Obermeier’s room and visit the 7th Grade History Students Quilt of Influential American in honor of Black History month.
Ø Attention 3rd through 5th Grade Girls…. Girls on the Run - It's registration time! This program is for 3rd-5th grade girls. You do not have to be a runner to participate. Registration ends on Wednesday, February 19th at noon. You can register at www.girlsontherunstlouis.org. If you need additional information, please contact Mrs. Missey.
Attention All Students…. Spring Pictures will be taken on Wednesday, February 26th. Bring in your order form and payment on Picture day or order online.
Attention 6th/7th/8th Grade Students…. The Cupid’s Crush Dance is tomorrow night from 7-9 p.m. for 6th -8th grade. The cost is $5.00. You must have a permission slip from your parents to attend.
Ø Attention Kindergarten – 8th Grade Students… It is that time of year again for our Young Author's contest. Information went home this week. All entries are to be turned into school by next Thursday, February 20th. This year there is no specific theme. We are looking forward to reading all of your wonderful stories. The winners selected are invited to attend a conference on Tuesday, March 31st at Westhaven School. Please contact Mrs. Meyer or Mrs. Coppernoll if you have any questions. Good luck!!
Ø Attention Students…. MCS Science Olympiad team is hosting a Trivia Night on Friday, March 6th in the MCS Gym. Doors open @ 6:30 p.m. Rounds begin @ 7:00 p.m. $10 per person, teams of up to 8. Reservations are recommended. Come join us for a night of Trivia, Bake Sale and Fun. Food and drinks are welcome. Registrations slips are in the principal’s office. If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Kehrer or Mrs. Kienitz.
Attention Pre-K through 8th Grade Students…. Math Night is on Monday, March 9th from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at MCS. We will have lots of fun games and activities that will engage kids of all ages.
