tudents enjoyed planting flowers in the landscaping barrels at both MCS and MPC to celebrate Earth Day 2019. They will continue to care for the plants by following daily watering schedules until the end of the school year.  The plants will look beautiful for graduation at both schools.  Thanks to the students for their fundraising efforts to make the Earth Day planting possible.  Thank you to the following 6th Grade students who had a community service project in Mrs. Kienitz's classroom and prepared all the landscaping barrels for planting:

Hudson Wills, Will Mentzer, Clay Correll, Hannah McManus,

Kate Easton, Alex Ford, Megan Groom, Jaiden Stoll,

Chance O'Saben, Nick Schwaegel, Cole Harris and Brennan Lowery

Also, a shout out to Marge Wolfmeier who assisted with planting at MPC, as well as all the art students in Ms. Gay's Art classes who did a great job painting the landscaping markers. They were very creative and have been staked outside on both campuses to identify the classroom barrels.

A special thanks Scharf Farms for working with the school to provide the beautiful flowers for the Earth Day Project.
