Character Ed Theme – Integrity

  • Track Results – Over the weekend both track teams had qualifiers participate in the State Meet. We had an exciting day for both teams! 
  • Track – All track athletes need to turn in their uniforms first thing in the morning, or during their study hall time before next Wednesday, the 17th. Boys please turn into Coach Bilbruck and girls turn into Coach Keeley. 
  • Jazz Band – Please release Jazz band members at 9:15 this morning for their field trip to The Edge

For the boys: Caiden Capell medaled with a second place in the hurdles and broke the school record. Easton Blair, Jack Gravot, Graysonn Leiber, and Noah Thomason medaled and placed 5th in the 7th grade  4x 200 relay. Noah Thomason medaled and placed 5th in the 7th grade 100m dash, and broke the school record. Jack Gravot, Grayson Leiber, Matthew Dascotte, and Eason Blair medaled and placed 8th in the 4x 400, and broke the school record by 7 seconds! 

On the girls side: Josie Coughlin medaled and is back to back state champ in the 400m dash, and set a new STATE record! Mylee Davis medaled and placed 4th in the 400m dash. Lainey Capell medaled with a second place in the 7th grade 100m dash and broke the school record. Josie Coughlin medaled and placed 5th in the 8th grade 100m dash. Josie Coughlin medaled and placed 4th in the 200m dash and broke the school record. Lainey Capell medaled and placed 5th in the 200m dash. Mylee Davis, Alyssa Sternau, Lucy Senezyn, and Josie Coughlin medaled and placed 2nd in the 4x 400 relay and broke the school record by 9 seconds! 

Out of 37 teams at the State meet these girls brought home a 3rd place State Trophy! Some of these girls are now a part of two state trophies this school year. Huge accomplishment, and well deserved!  We are very proud of you all! Congratulations on a very special season! We greatly appreciate everyone’s hard work and perseverance throughout the season! Coach Keely and Coach Bilbruck

 

  • Student Council: Please remember our last meeting is tomorrow morning at 7:30. Student Council elections will take place tomorrow as well.

I want to personally thank the chaperones, administrators, and students for the dance Friday night. It was one of the best dances in a long time, and it couldn't have happened without your support and awesome behavior!! What a great way to end the year!
