  • Teachers and Students: Student Council is sponsoring A Sock it To Cancer Fundraiser this year. All proceeds will go to The Kellsie's Hope Foundation to support finding a cure for childhood cancers. Once you have your yellow sock, take it home, decorate it, and fill it with loose change and any dollars you can spare. Bring it back to school filled with your donation by FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27th. Volunteers will count the donations, the class with the highest donations at each school will have a pizza party!!!  If you participate in the decorating contest, make sure your name is on a piece of paper inside the sock with your homeroom teacher's name. Let's beat some of the other area schools by raising $5,000 for this amazing cause. SOCK IT TO CHILDHOOD CANCER.
  • MATH TEAM NEWS: Some members of the math team competed this weekend at  the feeder school contest at Belleville West. Representing the 8th grade were Mylee Davis, Annabelle Brunner, Kaden Copling-Jaroenngarm, JT Millton, Eli Seneczyn and Jayden Richardson. Annabelle tied for third place but lost the position due to a tie-breaker, so she and Kaden received Honorable Mentions for their fine scores. Mylee tied for 1st place but came home with a 2nd Place Medal due to a tie-breaker question. The eighth grade team brought home the 2nd place trophy!  Our lone 7th grade representative was Myles Kurfman but he did not disappoint, he captured the 1st place medal in the 7th grade division!  All members worked on a team test and earned second place for their efforts.  A fantastic job for a hard-working group of students. Thanks for making MCS proud!
