Character Ed Theme – Responsibility
Fundraiser: Do your part for our youngest Panthers and their playground. Join the Cookie Dough and Cheesecake Fundraiser. Online is the easiest since payments are handled for you. Paper orders mean you collect the money and bring it in with your form. Orders are due Friday. Don’t forget about the awesome prizes: Sell 5 items and win a prize / Sell 15 items and join me for a trip to Happy Days. / And the top selling homerooms 3rd-5th grade and 6th-8th grade win a pizza party!
Cross Country will be dismissed with Walkers today 10/8 and meet in the gym.

Scholar Bowl News: Analysis of these organisms is the focus of dendrochronology [DEN-droh-kruh-NAHL-uh-jee]. Ecosystems created by these organisms may be divided into emergent, understory, and canopy layers. Growth rings can be counted on the cross-sections of the trunks of what plants, such as conifers, that create forests?

The Patriot’s Pen Program is a VFW-sponsored youth essay competition that gives students the opportunity to express their views on an annual patriotic theme. We invite you to join the more than 60,000 students who participated last year in this contest. Contestants must complete the 2025-2026 Official Entry Form. The 2025-2026 theme is: How Are You Showing Patriotism And Support For Our Country? Deadline Information: All entries must be submitted to Kristin Scharf or Mick Cohagan at VFW Post 7980 by midnight Oct. 31.
