This message is for ALL students! Lady Panthers have their first home game tonight! Our athletes have their game face on, student council is manning the concession stand, YOU are warming up your throwing arm for the chuck a duck halftime show, and cheerleaders are bringing their school spirit .. join the hype and wear your Panther Pride tomorrow for GAME DAY! Cheerleaders will be on the lookout WITH SPIRIT STICKS to celebrate students who join us in root - root - rooting for the home team! Good luck ladies and LETS GO PANTHERS!

SCHOOL DANCE:  ALOHA! Your Student Council would like to announce the first dance of the year! 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, you are invited to a Hawaiian Dance Party! next Friday, October 24th. Permission slips and information are being sent home with you TODAY and are DUE back by next Thursday, October 23rd. Faculty and staff - please consider being a chaperone to help our students enjoy their evening!

Family Reading Night wrap up:  A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make Family Reading Night a success! It was a wonderful evening for our school community, and it could not have happened without the support of our faculty, staff, and students who volunteered their time and energy. 

A special shout-out to Mrs. Weiler, Mr. Emge, The Stacy Cooper Foundation, and MCS PTA for their generous donations, and to MCS Beta Club, MCS Student Council, and our amazing custodians for their hard work behind the scenes.  And a special thank you to those who worked throughout the night, including our Pajama Room readers who brought stories to life:  Molly White, Gina Sangiolo, Ulrica Bateman, Anne Buss, Eileen Harszy, Susan Ayers, Tina Tarr, Jess Veath, Dawn Jones, Elaine Weiler, Ed Emge, Shannon Weaver, Kelly Snyder, Lauren Watkins, Kelli Marlin, Heather Hauss, Jen Wegener, Jen Weyant, Rebecca Godard, Sharon Wicklein, Rhonda Donelson, and Amy Jany.  A final thank you to Charlene Wolfbrandt, Dawn Jones, Rhonda Donelson, and Teresa Horvath for their leadership and organization.
