Cross Country: Thank you to all who came and supported the cross country team Saturday morning in sending us off. While our girls team and boys didn’t bring home any trophies or medals I can tell you that they raced hard and competed against some very tough competition. I’m very proud of everyone. Thanks again for a wonderful season! Please make sure uniforms get turned into Mr. Keeley by the end of the week. Coach Keeley
SCHOOL DANCE: ALOHA! Your Student Council would like to announce the first dance of the year! 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, you are invited to a Hawaiian Dance Party! next Friday, October 24th. The Hawaiian Dance permission slips are due back next Thursday, 10/23. Student Council will be selling leis during lunch Monday through Thursday next week for just $1 while supplies last! Faculty and staff - please consider being a chaperone to help our students enjoy their evening!

There will be a Scholar Bowl information meeting on Tuesday October 21 at 12:30 in Mrs. Obermeier's room. If you plan on attending this meeting, you must sign up on the sheet outside her door. This is a short 10 minute minute about what being on the Scholar Bowl team requires. Thanks
PTA SKATE NIGHT: Please come to skate night at Skate City on Wednesday, October 22nd from 5:00pm to 7:00pm $7.00 admission/$5.00 Skate Rentals
Some members of the math team competed this weekend at the 33rd Annual Math Contest at Belleville West. Representing the “8th grade team” were Brooke Scharringhausen and ReaganWitt, along with 7th graders Esmee Ballance-Husted, Frank McGhee, WesleyLinder, and Wyatt Linder. Esmee, Frank, and Wesley all received an HonorableMention for their great scores. All contestants did an excellent job, receiving114 points overall.Representing the “7th Grade team” were some courageous 6th graders: RoseMcGhee, Owen Wheeler, Thomas Bauer, and John Brennan. Owen earned an Honorable Mention for his great score.
Mr. Heeg is proud and appreciative of this hard-working group of students and their fantastic performance.
