Parents/Teachers: Donate Blood In Honor of Aubrey Weaver! Last November, at age 18, Aubrey was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Aubrey put her college life on hold to come home and get treated for her cancer. Aubrey went through 6 months of chemo and trial drug treatments. After an early round of chemo, Aubrey needed blood to continue her treatment. She rang the bell in June and is now back at college studying to become a nurse. She hopes one day to be able to help other children with life threatening conditions. We are so grateful for the people that choose blood and platelet donation. Please donate in honor of Aubrey and patients in need. Congratulations to our Chess Team members on their wins against Freeburg! Individual winners were Conor Branum, Owen Wheeler, Bryce Timm, Lucas McQuade, Mitchell White, John Brennan, Alexander Hogg, Cameron Zeller, Trevor Juelfs, and Cate Branum, and Asher Lillard with a tie! Congratulations to all of you!
Good luck to our scholar bowl team! Mrs. Obermeier shared that although the team is down players due to the 8th grade field trip, the remaining members made the decision to compete anyway. While the circumstances are not ideal, the choice speaks volumes about their commitment, resilience, and integrity.
To our 8th graders attending the fox theater field trip today - enjoy this special experience! And remember - you are representing our school. Your behavior, choices, and interactions reflect who we are as a community. Represent Millstadt with pride, respect others around you, and show the same responsibility and character that define panther pride.
