Beta Club Meeting - Next meeting: Wednesday 5/6/26 meeting in Mrs. Rasmussen’s Room 207 at 7:45 am.
KIDS BOWL FREE! Just wanted to pass this along to all families. This is a great Program for kids in the summer. I know Bel Air Bowl in Belleville, West Park Bowl in Columbia and St. Clair Bowl in Fairview all participate. Each child can get a pass for 2 free games of bowling each day!!!! https://www.kidsbowlfree.com/
April 25th MCS will be participating in a Fundraiser giving hope to kids with cancer. More information in the March newsletter!
MCS Talent Show will be on May 6th.
Our Earth Day Plant Fundraiser has been extended to April 17th, Let’s help our school bloom! Your teachers should have a collection jar to collect spare change to help beautify our school with plants and trees. The winning class will win an ice cream party so get that change turned in as soon as you can.
The MCS Art Fair is coming up on Monday April 27th! Come see your artwork on display- along with your friends’ artwork too! Your homeroom teacher will be giving you a flyer this week, so keep an eye out and be sure to mark your calendars!
Thursday Millstadt soccer faced off against Fulton Jr. High. Max Ticknor assisted on a Pierson Brunner goal in the 2nd half. However, Panthers fell short with a final score of Fulton 2 and Millstadt 1. Coach Stern is beyond proud of the team and how hard they worked. Special shoutout to Ralph Wofford and Mackenna Hauck for playing absolutely amazing on defense.
Both the girls and boys track teams competed in the Red Bud invite yesterday and did not disappoint. Both teams placed first and came home as overall champions of the meet! We had some great performances and they represented themselves and our school so well. Coach Bilbruck and Coach Keeley are so proud of both teams! It was a great day to be a Millstadt Panther! The following athletes placed for their teams :
Mikah Davis 1st place in long jump, 1st place in 400m run, 1st place in 8th grade100m run, and 1st place in 200m run
Sophia Knobeloch, 2nd place long jump, 2nd place 200m, 1st place 7th grade 100m run
Taylor Rule- 3rd in 400m run, 5th in 7th grade 100m run
Sophia McWilliams - 4th in 8th grade 100m run
Brooke Duncan 4th in 800 m run.
Viv Barriger- 6th in 100m hurdles
Peyton Brown 4th in discus
Lily Robles 4th in high jump
Girls 4x 100m relay team placed 3rd with Sophia McWiiliams. Avery Rafford, Lily Robles. and Brooke Duncan
Girls 7th grade 4x 200m relay team placed 3rd with Corinne Ramadamu, Milana Scarborough, Cate Branum, and Tessa Toenjes
Girls 8th grade 4x 200 m relay team placed 1st with Sophia Knobeloch, Taylor Rule, Lily Robles, and Sophia McWilliams
Girls 4x 400 placed 3rd with Brooke Duncan, Lily Robles. Alivia Lahaie, and Sophia McWilliams.
I-LAHN McGruder placed 1st in 8th grade 100m, and 200m run
Mason Robertson placed 6th in 100m run, 4th in 200m run, 2nd in long jump, and 5th in hurdles
Max Barriger placed 1st in hurdles and 3rd in 800m run
Christian Ramadamu placed 2nd in 400m run, and 4th in high jump
Hurley Cook placed 4th in mile run
Alexander Hogg placed 1st in 800 m run
Jason Sinn placed 3rd in discus
Miles Horvath placed 6th in discus
Henry Mauck placed 5th in shot put
Karson Baltz placed 3rd in high jump
Boys 4x 100m relay placed 2nd with Will Grier, Max Barriger, Caleb Kish, and I-LAHN McGruder
Boys 7th grade 4x 200m relay placed 1st with Greyson Bilbruck, Wesley Collins, Avery Williams, and Owen
Boys 8th grade 4x 200m relay placed 2nd with Sawyer Belosi, Caleb Kish, Will Grier, and I-LAHN McGruder
Boys 4x 400m relay placed 2nd with Christian Ramadamu, Caleb Kish, Sawyer Belosi, and Will Grier
And then we also had a mixed boys and girls 6th grade 4x200m relay place 1st with Corinne Ramadamu, Tessa Toenjes, Sawyer Mines, and Avery Williams
