Character Ed Theme – Commitment

Thank you to everyone that was able to join us for some Earth Day themed fun at Science Night last night.  We appreciate everyone, staff and students, who helped set up and/or worked a station.  Thank You - we couldn't do it without you!  We had 124 students and their families in attendance at Science Night last night.  Speaking of attendance...the winner of the floating globe attendance prize is Addie Joyce from Mrs. Holmes's classroom. The winner of the Hershey's hugs and kisses estimation jar was just 7 pieces away on their guess.  With a guess of 194, and the actual count being 187, the hugs and kisses go to JR Curtis from Mrs. Kehrer's classroom.  The winner of the gummy worms estimation jar was just 2 pieces away on their guess.  With a guess of 112, and the actual count being 114, the gummy worms go to Livie Keck from Mrs. Weaver's classroom.

KIDS BOWL FREE!  Just wanted to pass this along to all families.  This is a great Program for kids in the summer.  I know Bel Air Bowl in Belleville, West Park Bowl in Columbia and St. Clair Bowl in Fairview all participate.  Each child can get a pass for 2 free games of bowling each day!!!! https://www.kidsbowlfree.com/

Student Council is sponsoring a DOOR DECORATING CONTEST. The theme is “Panther Pride Showcase: Leap Into Your Future!” Judging will take place on Tuesday, May 12. There will be a winner from both schools!

7th and 8th grade game day has been moved to today. They will be around the volleyball court from 8:30-2 with a break from 12:15-1 for lunch!  8th graders will be provided with a farewell chic-filet boxed lunch today courtesy of the PTA.

MCS Odyssey of the Mind is having a BBQ and bake sale on Saturday 5/9 from 3-7 at Millpond Brewing.  Come get some yummy food and cakes!

Last night we played in our season finale vs Lebanon.  We also celebrated our 8th graders final soccer match as a Panther.  Thank you 8th graders Mackenna, Ralph, Max and Pierson and good luck in your soccer careers.  We played 2 games against Lebanon.  Millstadt won 7-0 in the first game with goals from Ralph Wofford, Thomas Bauer, and Sam Voelkel.  Max Ticknor and Pierson Brunner each had 2 goals in the game.  In our second game Millstadt also won 1-0 in a tough game.  Parker Haas scored the game winner.  Millstadt Soccer Season record was 5-3.  Thank you soccer team for a wonderful season.  Jerseys will be collected next week.  Coach Stern
