Band News:
Don’t forget the Millstadt Parade will be happening on Saturday and Sunday at 5:00pm this weekend! Sr Band however will not be marching in the parade on Saturday evening because of the heat, but they will try to march on Sunday. Be ready for a great performance and celebrate your panther classmates and our community! Then afterward you can hopefully visit Liederkranz park to enjoy homecoming activities! Ms. Drennan will keep band members informed as we keep an eye on the heat.

Baseball/Softball:
Great news!!!! Our Baseball team beat Waterloo 10-0 and Softball beat them Waterloo 15-4. What a terrific night to be a Panther, I hope some of you were there to see it and were cheering loudly!! Some of you may not know this, but having the energy of the crowd behind you, may be the one thing a team needs to be able to pull that extra effort out of themselves to win! So in a way, you are an integral part of the team when you are able to attend games and support your fellow Panthers! So thanks to all who attended and to our teams who gave it their all!
Other News:
PTA is hosting a skate party at Skate City tomorrow night, Wednesday, September 9th from 6 to 8 pm. So dust off those cobwebs and try practicing your skating skills with your fellow Panthers at the skate party!
I hope everyone enjoyed their donuts this morning! For you new students, this event usually happens the first Friday of every month, so if you forgot to get a donut today, you will have other opportunities to enjoy.
If you ordered ice cream, please remember to pick it up in the atrium after you eat your lunch today! Coach Weaver has a list of everyone that turned in their orders.
Today is the big day for the sorting assembly at 1:30pm. Third graders will find out who their houses are. So House members, be ready to welcome your newest members!
Math Team News: Attention 6th, 7th and 8th graders, you are all welcome to check out the math team. Math team will be starting next week, Sept 10th. Thursday morning at 7:15am in Mr. Heeg’s room. Again, that will be next week.
BLOOD DRIVE: There will be a blood drive on Wednesday September 16th at St James Catholic Parish & School from 3:00pm to 8:00pm in honor of one of our students Regan Timm. Please schedule your appointment today and call 1-800-Red-Cross or email at RedCrossBlood.org. Or you may also go to the school website for a QR Code.
