Sports News:
Friday, the cross country teams ran in Freeburg against 21 teams. Many of our panthers pushed themselves and ran their best times. Top 15 in the boys and girls varsity races received medals. Congratulations to the following medalists: Cole Agne placed 13th, Franks McGhee placed 10th, and Vivienne Rehling placed 8th. This Friday after school your panthers have a home meet behind MCS. Come out and cheer both teams on!
Softball wins 10-8 over Freeburg. Lena Otten and Eryn Wallace each go 3 for 4
6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys and girls, don’t forget to sign up for basketball in the gym if you are interested!

Reminder Chorus practice starts this week. Anyone in 4th through 8th grade who is interested should go see Mrs Snyder in the library today to get more information.
Grandparent’s day is coming this week! MPC on September 15th Grades 1 & 2 at 9:30-10:30 and Grades ECC/PK/Kindergarten from 1:30-2:30. MCS has grandparent day on September 17th. Grades 3 & 4 from 9:30-10:30 and Grades 5 & 6 from 1:30-2:30
Picture day is scheduled for Sept 30th at both MPC and MCS

BLOOD DRIVE: There will be a blood drive on Wednesday September 16th at St James Catholic Parish & School from 3:00pm to 8:00pm in honor of one of our students Regan Timm.
