Sports News:
At the meet last night in Triad our teams went up against 25 other teams. There were a total of 166 girls and 180 boys. It was great competition on a tough course! We had a few athletes finish in the top 50. Frank McGhee finished 40th, Veda Casey finished 47th, and Vivienne Rehling finished 24th. We are so proud of all those that ran yesterday! Keep it up Panthers!!
6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls basketball tryouts will be October 5th (3:30-5:30, October 6th (3:30-5:30), and September 7th (2:30-4:30). Students must have an updated physical within 13 months on file in the nurses office. Please see posting by the gym for times or in the written announcements.

Who is hungry for pizza!!! Odyssey of the Mind is having a fundraiser at Bennie's Pizza Pub in Belleville on Sept 24th. 10% of all sales goes to support Odyssey of the Mind.
Grandparent’s day is coming this week! MPC on September 15th Grades 1 & 2 at 9:30-10:30 and Grades ECC/PK/Kindergarten from 1:30-2:30. MCS has grandparent day on September 17th. Grades 3 & 4 from 9:30-10:30 and Grades 5 & 6 from 1:30-2:30
Picture day is scheduled for Sept 30th at both MPC and MCS

BLOOD DRIVE: There will be a blood drive on Wednesday September 16th at St James Catholic Parish & School from 3:00pm to 8:00pm in honor of one of our students Regan Timm.
