Sports News:
6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls basketball tryouts will be October 5th (3:30-5:30, October 6th (3:30-5:30), and September 7th (2:30-4:30). Students must have an updated physical within 13 months on file in the nurses office. Please see posting by the gym for times or in the written announcements.
Today’s Cross Country meet has been pushed back to 6:30. It’s a home meet so if you’re able, come out and cheer on your Panther Cross Country runners!” If you do decide to come to watch cross country, remember to bring your water bottles and stay hydrated.
Our Baseball/Softball teams have games at Columbia today at 4:15 Speaking of softball. Our girls B team beat Columbia 20-11. Aibree Larsen hits a moonball and Eryn Wallace drives in 6. Be aware that there is a chance the games could be cancelled or postponed due to the heat.
Other News:
Odyssey of the Mind is having a fundraiser at Bennie's Pizza Pub in Belleville on Sept 24th. 10% of all sales goes to support Odyssey of the Mind.
The Sock It To Childhood Cancer Campaign will be starting next week on the 21st through Sept 25th. Socks will be handed out this Friday (9/18). Decorate your socks and fill them with coins. The homeroom that collects the most money will win a donut party! Let’s exceed our record from last year and help fight this disease!
Picture day is scheduled for Sept 30th at both MPC and MCS
