MCS would like to welcome visiting artist, Obayana Ajanaku! Obayana is a metalsmith and jewelry maker who creates mixed-metal jewelry inspired by his grandmother's quilt making. He will be a featured artist at Art on the Square in Belleville this weekend. Thank you for visiting us and we are excited to have you here"
Attention Singsation…. There will be no more rehearsals. We will have a party and that time will be announced next week!!!
Attention 5th/6th/7th Grade Students…. It's time for Student Council elections! Any student in 5-7 grade that wants to be a part of all the fun should pick up a packet from their homeroom teacher TODAY! I am looking for responsible, energetic, enthusiastic individuals that want to be a part of creating school spirit and promoting a positive school environment. I have so many fun and exciting ideas for next year, and I want you to be a part of it. Pick up your petition packet today, and make sure it is turned in by May 18th!! Attention 6th/7th/8th Grade Students…. The Student Council is hosting the Spring Fling this Friday, May 13th. Permission slips are on the Student Council board and also in the junior high hallway. The dance is from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. for 6th and 7th graders and 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. for the eighth graders. The Student Council is providing food and drinks form 9-10 for the eighth graders. Just a reminder that there is no running at the dance and that soda bottles and trash belong in trash cans not on the floor.
Attention Students…. The Spring Carnival is on Friday, May 20 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Permission slips and arm band orders are in the April Newsletter.
